The Conference aims to create a space of discussion, reflection, and action around the themes of
motivation and autonomy and their multiple aspects such as student motivation and autonomy,
teacher motivation and autonomy, all at different levels and through varied scaffolding tools. We
also aim at addressing these issues through research outcomes and in progress, debates, and
classroom experiences.

2012 Pro.T Seminar will have Claudia Ferradas as the opening plenary, someone who does not need any introductions. She will present on 21st century English teacher identity. Graham Stanley, British Council expert and IATEFL SIG leader, will then share his insight into digital literacies. Jamie Keddie, an upcoming household name, will eagerly make audience participate in his take on videotelling and the role of the visual teacher. Finally, Jan Blake, 2010 IATEFL Conference closing plenary and at present the most renown storyteller in the English language, will take us into the realm of storytelling from a multicultural perspective.
