This workshop will raise teachers’ awareness of the social skills and competencies that teenagers need in order to take part in the emerging 21st century participatory culture. Activities will suggest how EFL teachers can promote skilful reading and writing to ensure that learners develop the competencies required to be successful in the new millennium.

LACLIL Call for submissions - 2010

The Latin American Journal of Content and Language Integrated Learning (LACLIL) is pleased to invite submissions for the September issue of its bi-annual online peerreviewed publication. Authors of original applied research, reviews, and reflections interested in submitting manuscripts to be considered for publication in LACLIL should register with the journal as an author and review Author Guidelines for submission information. LACLIL is published in the spring and autumn and covers topics such as:
• Strategies which have enhanced learning and teaching in a foreign language
• Processes and considerations in designing a course taught in a foreign language
• Ongoing research and results in the area of content and language integrated learning
